Arcaiva and Zoho Books
Arcaiva or Zoho Books? Compare the work, not feature counts.
A broad configurable suite and a bounded accounting workflow solve different requirement sets. Identify the document, organization, workflow, banking, project, inventory, and connection requirements that must be available now.
Choose the workflow to compare
Arcaiva’s documented sequence keeps customer context, billing documents, receivables review, and company scope explicit. Zoho Books publishes plan-specific breadth. Start with the required work, not a checklist total.
Separate Standard and Professional capabilities
Catalog basis. These guide limits are separate from the upcoming package allowances and are not trial entitlements.
Zoho Books’ US pricing page lists bank feeds and API access on Standard. It lists sales and purchase orders, timesheet billing, project profitability, inventory, approvals, and configurable workflows on Professional. Those are vendor-published plan rows, not evidence that every plan or every customer configuration has the same coverage.

| Requirement | Arcaiva | Zoho Books evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| Operating breadth | Focused customer, invoice/PDF, pro-forma, receivables, and company-scoped workflows. | Evaluate the relevant plan’s coverage for inventory, projects, purchase orders, and other required suite functions. |
| AI-assisted work | Limited availability; user review remains necessary. | Check the scope and availability of each published Zia capability rather than assuming every AI workflow is included. |
| Migration and support | QuickBooks Online migration is in development; no support model is published. | Published migration guidance and support routes are useful evaluation inputs; verify coverage, terms, and ownership. |
| Company scope | Pro includes up to 3 companies without consolidation or intercompany automation. | Cross-organization consolidation is not established by this comparison’s sources; validate your operating model. |
Compare pro-forma methods precisely
Arcaiva documents an accepted pro forma becoming one draft invoice. Zoho Books documents using Quotes to create proforma invoices and changing the displayed document title in the PDF template. Do not claim Zoho lacks pro formas or imply that the two documented lifecycles are identical.
Check organizations, AI, and connection scope
Do not equate a vendor’s API access with a working connection to a specific system. Arcaiva does not publish a generally available integration catalog, and its AI-assisted capabilities are limited availability with user review. Agent compatibility, named integrations, and permission controls each need direct, product-specific verification.
When each deserves consideration
Consider Arcaiva for the published customer, document, receivables, and company-scoped sequence. Consider the exact Zoho Books plan when broader configurable workflows, bank feeds, projects, inventory, or API access are essential. Keep organization scope and consolidation as separate questions.
